MKB Law Sponsor Vespa World Days Belfast 2018

The launch of Vespa World Days Belfast 2018 recently took place at Titanic Belfast and was attended by the Lord Mayor, coordinators, partners and sponsors for the event, including MKB Law.

Each year a National Vespa Club hosts an event that attracts Vespa enthusiasts from around the world; 2018 will be the turn of the Ulster Vespa Club. This is the first time that the event has taken place in Ireland since its inception in 1954, and only the second time the event has been held in the UK (London, 2012).

The location of course could only be the Titanic Quarter of Belfast. The Titanic Quarter not only offers the space and capacity for such an event, but also the culture and heritage associated with Belfast’s most iconic brand.

It is expected that 3,000 Vespa owners from up to 40 different countries will visit Belfast for the four-day event (14 – 17 June), bringing in approximately £7.7 million of additional revenue to the local economy*.

The 2018 event will be sponsored by MKB Law, and supported by Belfast City Council, Visit Belfast and Titanic Belfast. There will also be two nominated charities; Air Ambulance NI and the East Belfast Mission.

Anne Marie Kelly, Director at MKB Law, said: “Through our colleague Beth Kennedy, one of the co-ordinators of Vespa World Days 2018, MKB Law is proud and excited to be associated with such a fantastic event. The Titanic and Vespa brands are renowned worldwide, and we look forward to witnessing the two combined next year in Belfast!”
