Background & Experience
I graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a LLB Honours Degree in Common & Civil Law with French. During this time I spent a year studying law at the Université de Rennes in Brittany. I then continued my studies at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies and was admitted as a solicitor in 2001.
I joined MKB Law in 2008, where main area of work is property and private client, particularly wills and probate.
Dealing with the loss of a loved one is one of the most traumatic experiences that we have to endure. I therefore attempt to make the whole administration process as painless and simple as possible. I encourage my clients to put everything in my hands and let me relieve them of as much as the burden as is possible.
I also understand that contemplating what will happen when you yourself are gone is never pleasant for anyone. But making a will gives peace of mind and ensures that your loved ones are adequately protected in the event of your death.
As a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), I am recognised as a specialist in the field of trusts, wills and administration of estates. Since 2011 I have been a member of the committee of the Northern Ireland branch of this prestigious worldwide organisation.
In addition to my private client work, I also have a great deal of experience in all aspects of commercial and residential property, including: buying and selling, leases, security and liquor licensing.
