Background & Experience
I studied law at the Queen’s University Belfast and continued my professional studies at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, Belfast.
I joined the team at MKB as a solicitor in April 2013, having trained and practised for some time with another well respected firm. In November 2017, I was appointed Associate Director.
The majority of my practice involves commercial litigation and dispute resolution for businesses and individuals. I have substantial experience acting in personal injury and clinical negligence actions.
Some examples of case types in which I have successfully acted include:
Emergency Injunctions to restrain the disposal of bank facilities and the unfreezing of bank accounts
High Court actions involving breaches of contract, defective products and intellectual property infringement
Construction disputes resolved through arbitration
Land and property disputes
Financial services litigation, including the mis-selling of regulated products and claims arising from cyber fraud
Judicial review of decisions of public authorities
Professional negligence claims.
Outside of work, I have recently become a dad and enjoy spending time with my wife and our baby daughter.
