Kelly Ann McAteer
Background & Experience
I graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with degree in Law in 2014 and commenced my studies at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in January 2018, with the aim of qualifying as a Solicitor in 2019.
After graduating, I worked in the busy remortgaging department in a Belfast city centre law firm in a fee-earning capacity. I then worked in a Top-Tier Law Firm in their disputes department, dealing primarily with International Arbitrations and FCA Regulatory matters. I joined MKB Law in September 2017 as a Trainee Solicitor. I am delighted to have the opportunity to work closely with Director Anne Marie Kelly and Karen Edwards in the thriving Family Law Department.
Outside of work, I am very interested in Mental Health Issues and am training to become a Listener for the Samaritans charity. I am also very interested in healthy eating and trying new healthy recipes, though I do make sure to enjoy a good meal out every weekend!
