Lynsey Henderson is an Associate Director in the Corporate and Commercial team at MKB Law. Lynsey works within both the corporate and commercial property departments, acting for a range of clients including individuals, developers, businesses and lenders. She is involved in all manner of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, shareholder arrangements, partnership agreements and restructures. Lynsey is also heavily involved in advising both landlord and tenants in relation to commercial property matters. Her highlights include:

Acting and assisting in several large-scale business sale and purchase transactions including the set up and management of the legal due diligence process as well as the drafting and negotiation of key transactional documentation;

Acting and assisting in various commercial property acquisitions and disposals;

Acting for both landlords and tenants in the drafting and negotiation of commercial leases and lease renewals as well as providing advice under the Business Tenancies Order.

Acting in the sale of Kingsway Shopping Centre on behalf of a long-standing business client in August 2021.

Acting exclusively for one of Northern Ireland’s largest Landlords in relation to their retail and office portfolio located in both Northern Ireland and England and Wales including a high number of high profile leases and property disposals.

Advising on the sale of the former Debenhams department store building in Norwich city centre for an undisclosed sum in February 2022.

Acting for one of Northern Ireland’s most prominent property investors in relation to the portfolio sale of 29 investment properties let to Ladbrokes Bookmakers and located across Northern Ireland for an undisclosed sum.
