Companies House – New Bank Details
Published 3 September 2020.
Companies House, the official registrar of companies in the UK, has recently announced a change in status – from a trading fund to a central government organisation.
Along with this change in status, will also come a change in bank account details. The agency will now use bank accounts that fall under the Government Banking Scheme.
Customers who wish to make a bank transfer (BACS payment), will be informed of the new bank account details via letter. The new bank details are also available to view on all emails from Companies House plus online guidance. To help facilitate a successful transaction, the agency’s old bank account will continue to stay open until the end of February 2021.
