Kelly Shaw
Kelly Shaw is the head of the family and matrimonial department at MKB Law. She has over 20 years’ experience as a solicitor in general practice covering matrimonial, private client, conveyancing and litigation matters. Kelly has advised high net worth individuals, family businesses and limited companies.
Before joining MKB Law, Kelly ran a successful and highly regarded practice in Hillsborough as a sole practitioner for over 15 years. Through this Kelly has built up a vast knowledge of Priavte Client Law – Property and Wills – elements of which affect most matrimonial matters. Kelly has extensive experience in Divorce and Ancillary Relief in the High Court.
Kelly acts for clients in both defended and undefended divorces and in pre-nuptial and post nuptial agreements. She assists in the division of assets through negotiation and the preparation of matrimonial agreements where possible and if necessary, in Ancillary Relief Court Proceedings. As a collaboratively trained solicitor Kelly can assist with negotiating a ‘friendly divorce’. Kelly can also provide advice in relation to Children Order matters, such as contact and residence, when associated with your Divorce Proceedings.
