Matthew McGuigan is a solicitor within the Corporate & Commercial team at MKB Law. Having graduated with a degree in Law from Queen’s University Belfast in 2023, Matthew shortly joined the firm thereafter as a Paralegal before undertaking his solicitor training at the IPLS. Matthew qualified as a solicitor in September 2026.

As part of Matthew’s role within the Corporate Department, he is involved with a wide variety of M&A transactions including share purchase agreements and franchise agreements, as well as providing clients with advice in respect to corporate governance. Matthew has worked on a number of complex private equity transactions where he has picked up a keen interest for it.

Matthew also assists in various other related areas such as banking and corporate finance, and licensing matters.

Outside Interests:
Matthew enjoys playing golf, reading and attending Arsenal matches!
