MKB Law, in partnership with the Belfast Chamber of Trade and Commerce, were pleased to host a business lunch on Thursday 10 March at the Grand Central Hotel in Belfast with guest speaker, Finance Minister Conor Murphy.

The event – second in a series of networking lunches – affords members of the business community the opportunity to meet with key decision-makers from the Northern Ireland Executive in the run up to the elections.

MKB Law were delighted to welcome 60 attendees from across the local hospitality, retail, property and financial sectors. A drinks reception took place in the hotel’s beautiful art-deco inspired Seahorse Bar, with lunch served a floor above in the Panorama Suite.

The Finance Minister spoke primarily on the challenges relating to budget allocations and took a number of questions from attendees relating to specific issues their business had and continues to face during this time. In addition to Mr Murphy, attendees also heard from Simon Hamilton, Chief Executive of the Belfast Chamber, and Maria Conway, Director at MKB Law.
