MKB Law have been announced as the only Northern Irish based company to be selected as finalists at the Chartered Institute of Credit Management’s Credit Awards 2022!
MKB Law’s specialist Debt Recovery and Insolvency team represent a number of leading businesses in the credit industry within Northern Ireland, including many public sector clients solely for debt recovery. The team have been shortlisted in the category of ‘Legal Provider of the Year’ which recognises those firms that offer only the highest-quality service and solutions to the credit industry.
The landscape in Northern Ireland for credit management has faced significant hurdles above and beyond that in the UK, with ongoing restrictions as part of the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020.
In response to this, MKB Law have taken a progressive approach by further investing in bespoke software and technologies to streamline and maximize their approach to high-volume debt recovery. The team also holds frequent portfolio updates with their commercial clients to ensure they continue to meet the client’s budgetary and timetable requirements.
MKB Law were also recently selected as one of the ‘Top 40 Law Firms in Northern Ireland’ in a report conducted by the Belfast Telegraph, and, from a list featuring 1084 law firms, were the only firm to be recognised in the specialist area of ‘personal insolvency’.
David McAlinden, Director and Head of Debt Recovery and Insolvency at MKB Law, comments: “The CICM is the largest professional credit management body in Europe, and their annual awards acknowledge the standout achievements of various organisations – our Debt Recovery and insolvency team are honoured to be recognised amongst this list of finalists.
This nomination also demonstrates the dedication and hard work of our team combined with the support of our loyal client base.”
The awards ceremony takes place on Thursday 24 March at the Royal Lancaster, London.
