The Commercial Property team at MKB Law have seen a busy start to 2022 with a number of significant disposals completed in recent weeks.

Associate Director Lynsey Henderson has concluded two high-profile disposals of commercial property with a development opportunity in both Northern Ireland and England.

Lynsey concluded January with the sale of lands at 1-21 Castlereagh Road in Belfast, which was sold with the benefit of full planning permission for residential development with 3 ground floor commercial units.

At the beginning of February, Lynsey was delighted to conclude the sale of the former Debenhams department store building situated in a prime high street location in Norwich. The purchaser of the 111,000 square foot property has plans to re-purpose the upper floors of the building whilst maintaining the Class E use on both the ground and lower ground levels.

Lynsey who acts for property investors with portfolios in both Northern Ireland, England and Wales notes that: “It is really encouraging for the commercial property team at MKB Law to start 2022 with two significant disposals. The team understands the complexities of such disposals and are aware how substantial these disposals are to our clients’ business. We are pleased to have two very happy clients at the end of these sales.”
